A Scotland-based haulage company with a rich history, Tennant Transport traces its origins back to the 1900s when materials were transported by horse and cart. Thriving to this day, Tennant Transport continues to serve the entire UK with a modern fleet. Operating over 40 vehicles from their Hyndford Bridge depot, Tennant Transport boasts an extensive trailer fleet of Montracon trailers.
Recently, Tennant Transport undertook a significant project delivering parapet sections and L-shaped concrete lintels, weighing up to 26 tonnes each from Scotland to Camden Town in London. Spanning approximately 500 miles and requiring nearly 10 hours of driving one way, the task was no small feat. By deploying 26 Montracon flat platform trailers, Tennant Transport completed the project efficiently and confidently. Montracon’s trailers proved to be the ideal choice, providing an effective and reliable solution for the demanding job.
Montracon’s UK-manufactured Flat Platform trailers handled the load effortlessly, remaining robust and steadfast. This was a true testament to Montracon’s commitment to producing trailers with Quality, Strength, and Longevity built-in.
The Montracon Flat Platform trailers demonstrated exceptional durability, easily accommodating the hefty loads with no signs of strain or deflection. Tennant Transport’s successful delivery of 26 full loads of 26-tonne parapet sections and L-shaped concrete lintels was achieved with complete ease and peace of mind.
Montracon is proud to have played a pivotal role in this project, and extends thanks to Tennant Transport for sharing photos that showcased the reliability and performance of its trailers.
This collaboration highlights once again why Montracon is ‘The Trailer for Road Transport’. With Quality, Strength, and Longevity at its core, Montracon remains the trailer manufacturer of choice for businesses that demand the best.
